Associate (Intern) Program - Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (Lilie)

This is an Owl Edge Internship opportunity made possible by Co-Founders Diana Murakhovskava and Irene Ryabaya.

All internship programs will run 10 weeks this summer at startup company or an innovation lab. If you have any questions, please contact Caitlin Bolanos, Associate Director of Lilie, at Caitlin.bolanos@rice.edu.

The selected intern will participate in LEAD 150 – a one-credit course offered through the Center for Civic Leadership and Center for Career Development that will take place during the Summer ’18 (online). Pre-internship preparation workshops will take place Spring ’18. The student may compliment or substitute this course with one organized by their school (i.e. RCEL, Gateway).

MONARQ Associate Program

Monarq builds diverse networks, accelerates revolutionary ideas and funds women-led startups.   Monarq Incubator, the first female founder focused incubator,Cohort II is currently in session nationally providing female-led companies with all the resources, mentorship and introductions they need to raise funding. Monarq is in the early stages of building a investment fund to invest in a variety of startups, targeting massive markets in technology.

Learn & Build Your Skills Rapidly: Work independently on meaningful projects and get direct feedback from Monarq’s founders. You will gain exposure to all the aspects of launching and running a startup. 

Get Published: Create videos, photographs, blog posts, social media posts for external marketing and outreach. 

Grow Your Network: The founders of Monarq are actively plugged into the NYC,Houston and National startup and investor community. You will have opportunities to meet many of the top entrepreneurs, investors,influencers and members of the press. We are happy to arrange a split schedule of duties to include NYC and Houston. 

What will you work on?

Help run our social media by crafting LinkedIn and Twitter posts. You will reach out to, engage with and interview influencers, bloggers and rising small business owners to build our social media presence. Take a look at our Twitter to get a feel for our voice. 

Research and due diligence on which women’s startups we invest money into, investors and partners we should collaborate with for the Monarq Incubator and Monarq Fund
