Fall 2019 Marketing Intern

Job Description: Marketing Intern
Location: Denver, CO
Job Type: Semester-Based Internship
Fall: Part Time (20 hours/week minimum)
-       Flexible - Between Monday, September 23 - Friday, December 13
Relocation Provided: No

Position & Program Benefits:
This role consists of supporting all initiatives undertaken by the marketing team, including doing research on our audiences and what has been effective both in the past and currently. Interns will seek out and present social media connections, optimize paid media campaigns, and keep a pulse on industry for breaking news to post on social media. Students in this role will assist with writing and organization of emails, listservs, and campaigns to help keep the marketing department organized and moving smoothly.

Recommendations will be provided, contingent upon successful completion of the internship.

Qualifications:
●     Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate marketing program and be passionate about marketing, social media and digital advertising (transcripts may be requested)
●     Strong attention to detail, ability to self-manage, prioritize and follow through on tasks
●     Strong interpersonal and communications skills
●     Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, as well as a familiarity with management tools such as Trello and/or Asana
●     Experience with handling social media accounts and marketing materials is a plus

Compensation:
●     This position will begin as an unpaid internship, but may turn into a stipend part-time position based on performance and fit.
●     Students can receive academic credit for their work if their universities offer employment credit programs.
