ENGINEER - RESEARCH ENGINEER - SCIENTIST - KINECTICS

Job Summary:

Join the Applied Power Division and work on diverse and exciting projects in Electromagnetics. Pursue innovative solutions via modeling and simulation, hardware/software design, prototyping, data analysis, laboratory experiments, field-testing, market research, client interaction, proposal preparation, and technical presentations. Pursue continuous professional development, lead technical staff, and engage in all aspects of contract research and development.


Education/Experience:

Requires a MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related engineering degree with 0-5 years of modeling and simulation, hardware/software design, or data analysis experience. Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer preferred. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Experience with electromagnetic modeling (FEA, numerical analysis) is desired. Applicable Software: COMSOL Electromagnetics module, ANSYS Maxwell, SKM, CYME, ATP-EMTP. Experience with scientific computing or MATLAB is required. Knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and NEC standards is desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with technical publications is desired. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
